I think the thing that should not be said to the depressed person is "Do you call this a problem, what are people going through..." Really, some people are unaware of anything. Every person is different. Each person has a different way of dealing with certain situations. Not everyone feels the same. So we need to remind that even at this age? Being conscious is very important.

I think the most important thing not to say to a depressed person is to say, "You're exaggerating." That person is not even aware of it. I think it's pretty frustrating when someone tells her she's exaggerating when she doesn't know what she's doing and can't control her own emotions.
