I don't think there is a way to describe the pain of death. The separation may not be permanent. The separated can reconcile. Even if they don't makeup, they have a chance to see each other again. It's a comfort to know that at least the person we love is alive and well. But death is not like that. We never get a chance to see the dead person again. We cannot hear the voice of the deceased. That's why the pain of death is not even comparable to the pain of separation.

Of course, it is unquestionably the pain of death. Even if there is a separation, we know that that person breathes somewhere in life and continues his life. We know that maybe life will bring us together one day. But death is the opposite. We will never meet him again on this earth. And this is really painful.
