Harakiri (Seppuku) is a 10-century-old Japanese suicide custom. The meaning of the word Harakiri is tummy tuck in Japanese. The person who commits this suicide prepares the day before, eats his favorite food, takes a shower, wears beautiful clothes, and then cuts his stomach with a katana and takes out his internal organs. This is really terrible for whatever reason it is done. Why do people continue these traditions?

Also known as Harakiri, this custom means that the Japanese, who refuse to accept defeat, would rather die than experience defeat. It is common in the country today to kill oneself to protect one's honor and not be defeated. Although it is a very interesting and somewhat medieval style method, we cannot say anything because it is still a tradition.
