An epidemic of unknown cause suddenly appeared in Strasbourg, France, in 1518. A woman suddenly starts dancing on the streets of the city and according to the records, a crowd of 50 to 400 people joins the dance. A dance to death is claimed on the record, but the death tolls are uncertain. It is thought that this dance hysteria, which lasts for days, maybe caused by a psychogenic condition resulting from mushroom poisoning or a stressful environment. A frightening and strange phenomenon.

This strange situation, also known as "dancing sickness", caused 400 people to dance non-stop, without rest, and some of these people died from causes such as heart attack, fatigue or stroke. This strange situation arose in July 1518, when a woman named Miss Troffea began dancing uncontrollably in the middle of Strasbourg. I think it's pretty creepy.
