Ghostwriter is an American-made mystery fiction television series created by Liz Nealon and produced by the Children's Television Workshop and BBC Television. It began airing on PBS on October 4, 1992, and its last episode aired on February 12, 1995. The series is about a circle of friends in Brooklyn who unravel neighborhood crimes and mysteries as a young detective team with the help of a ghost named Ghostwriter. The ghostwriter can communicate with children, but he uses paper to replace the text and letters he wants to tell and to form them words and sentences. The series was shot in Fort Greene, Brooklyn.
