Beatriz Guido was an Argentine screenwriter and writer of Italian origin. He was an Argentinian member of the 1955 Generation. Influenced by his interest in the Catholic religion, his work focuses on the dramatic analysis of national socio-political reality, the psychology of oppressed characters, and the questioning of the sexual repression of youth who dominate the upper classes. Along with Silvina Bullrich and Martha Lynch, she was one of the most read Argentinian writers of her time.
