Alternative dispute resolution (ADR) is the general name given to the solutions considered to resolve disputes effectively, quickly and with lower cost, out of court. Alternative dispute resolution remedies, known by the acronym ADR, which is the abbreviation of the English language, are not an alternative to court proceedings, but a reasonable option and complement. Today, the A of ADR has begun to be expressed as amicable (friendly), appropriate (appropriate), accepted (accepted). Examples of ADR means are arbitration, mediation, conciliation, early neutral evaluation, fact-finding, mini-trial, med-arb, compromise, negotiation. ADR routes, the majority of which are well known, such as (negotiation) can be shown. The advancement of technology has led to the emergence of a new branch of classical ADR routes, referred to as online dispute resolution (ODR).
